Hannah Stenning


Hannah Stenning, BA

Hannah is a media professional and currently works as Head of Video for News Corp Australia,  Previously she worked as a producer for Channel 9 at the Today Show and 60 Minutes. 

After a decade working for some of Australia’s biggest media organisations she understands what engages and moves Australians, especially on social media. 

A lifelong animal lover, she currently lives with two free range rabbits and a Bernes Mountain Dog named Pumpkin.

Dr Kersti Seksel


Dr Kersti Seksel


Kersti graduated in Veterinary Science from Sydney University and became very interested in animal behaviour while working overseas. To further her knowledge she went back to university graduating from Macquarie University with a BA in Behavioural Sciences with a major in psychology. In 1992 she began developing the program of Puppy Preschools® in veterinary hospitals around Australia. This interest led her to complete a MA (Hons) degree by thesis on the long and short term behavioural effects of puppy socialisation and training programs. She is a registered veterinary specialist in Animal Behaviour, a Fellow of the Australian College of Veterinary scientists in Animal Behaviour, a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviourists and a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Behavioural Medicine- Companion Animals. She is an adjunct senior lecturer at Charles Sturt University and honorary associate at University of Sydney. Kersti is a member of the AICD.

Christine Ryan

Christine Ryan

Christine joined the Delta Society as a volunteer in November 2013 working with her Schnoodle Marley at the spinal unit at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick.  After a rigorous selection process, Christine was invited to join the board in November 2017.

Christine has an extensive background working as a retail executive for a number of Australia’s leading retailers.  With a career specialising in marketing, she also brings to the Delta Society a wide range of skills including integrated communications, sourcing and procurement, customer service expertise and supplier relationship management, budget management and senior leadership. 

In recent years Christine has worked as a retail consultant and work as a Delta volunteer at the Children’s Hospital at Randwick with her dog Marley as a therapy dog team.


John Broome



John Broome

John is CEO of the Association of Australian National Advertisers (AANA), an industry body prepresenting Australia’s advertisers.  Prior to AANA, John had a 25 year marketing career in serveral packaged goods categories uncluding food, confectionery, cleaning and personal care, having worked with a number of global companies including Unilever, Kellogg, Nestle and Reckitt Benckiser.

Originally from Yorkshire, England, John has lived ad worked in several countries, including the US and Canada and is married to Jacquie with two daughters, Leah & Anna He has never been without a dog in the home and having become a volunteer at Greyhound Rescue, he has now adopted two greyhounds, Grace Kelly & Arlo, to add to the already resident cattle dog, Rory.

Rebecca Martin


Rebecca Martin BEc MBA (RMIT)

Rebecca has held senior corporate positions at Ford Motor Company in Australia and in Detroit, USA over 20 years. These roles covered a diverse range of disciplines including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Government Relations. She has been the CEO for a JV start-up for Macquarie Leasing and held that position for three years before starting her own business – HEATHMARTIN – specialising in Executive Coaching, Leadership and Productivity.

Rebecca’s leadership experience extends from the management of large corporate teams with accompanying budgets to small start-up teams developing policies and processes and driving growth with limited budgets. She loves working with and motivating teams of people or individuals.

She has held a number of Board and Advisory Board positions over her career, is a mentor for the Young Professional Women’s Association and has been a Delta volunteer for five years visiting Long Bay Forensic Hospital. She is constantly amazed at the impact a dog can have on people’s lives.

Belinda Nicolas


Belinda Nicholas

BComm (Hons.), CA, MAICD

Belinda is finance professional and currently works at a global bank.  Belinda has experience in governance, risk management, strategic thinking and execution underpinned by broad-based business acumen gained from various leadership roles in global financial services companies.  Originally from South Africa she has two Shih Tzu, Teddy and Dingo.

Belinda has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Louise Campbell

Louise has 17 years of blue chip corporate experience across risk, governance, investor relations, investment banking and law. Louise lives in Sydney with her family including much loved standard schnauzer, Bismarck.

Louise is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Governance Institute of Australia. Louise holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Honours in Geology) and has completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
